The 83rd APHCA Executive Committee meeting & 45th Business Session; and the Regional Forum on Innovations to Support Sustainable Livestock Transformation in the Asia and Pacific Region

The APHCA ExCom meeting and Business session will be organized on 11 November 2024, followed by the workshop on Innovations to Support Sustainable Livestock Transformation in the Asia and Pacific Region taking place 12-14 November. The workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to learn and exchange information on how livestock sector investment planning and innovations can transform the sector to meet food and nutrition security objectives and sustainable development goals

The workshops objectives are to:

1. Raise awareness and share experiences on how to undertake livestock sector investment planning and the associated benefits;
2. Identify challenges and gaps countries face in undertaking livestock sector development and transformation in Asia and the Pacific countries; and
3. Identify innovations and technologies that can support livestock sector transformation to be more efficient, safe, climate-smart and sustainable in the Asia and Pacific region.
