Virtual Event, 16/10/2024

The FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific invites you to join a regional youth forum titled “Youth Leadership in Sustainable Soil Management” to beheld on Wednesday, 16 October 2024 at 14.00 (GMT+7) via Zoom.

Organized as part of the World Food Forum, this regional event will focus on the pivotal role of youth in preserving and enhancing soil health through sustainable soil management practices, ultimately driving a transformative shift in agrifood systems. This session also explores the critical role of education in fostering the future generation of farmers and innovators, as well as strategies to bridge generational divides and maximize the agricultural potential of youth by embracing technology and fostering innovation.

In 2024, the World Food Forum Global Youth Action—a youth-led movement and network to transform our agrifood systems—is committed to the theme: “Good food for all, for today and tomorrow”.
