Bilateral meeting with H.E. Edwin Gorataone Dikoloti, Assistant Minister for Lands and Agriculture of Botswana

Rome - On the sidelines of the 44th Session of the FAO Ministerial Conference, the FAO Director-General met with H.E. Edwin Gorataone Dikoloti, Assistant Minister for Lands and Agriculture of Botswana.
The Minister thanked the Director-General for the meeting and acknowledged the existing good cooperation and working relationship between FAO and Botswana, and further welcomed FAO’s enhanced support to the country and emphasized that this support addressed agriculture investment programmes, including in the context of the One Health approach.
In his response, the Director-General reiterated FAO's readiness to strengthen its cooperation with Botswana. For the One Health approach, he highlighted the need for intra-ministerial collaboration, as well as with the FAO representative in the country, as well as the FAO Sub-regional and Regional office.
