Challenges of trade liberalization and effective implementation of trade rules

The workshop aims to equip participants with a better understanding of the rules and procedures to address and resolve trade issues for agri-food products in the WTO and other types of agreements. It seeks to raise awareness of the different binding and non-binding mediation and dispute settlement tools that are available. It will also present practical guidelines to identify options and design the necessary actions when trade disagreements affecting trade in agricultural and food products arise.

The workshop targets government officials, academia and private sector representatives involved in agricultural trade.
