Applications open for the WFF Youth Policy Board 2025-2026
30/01/2025

The World Food Forum (WFF)'s Global Youth Action Initiative is thrilled to announce that the call for applications for the next cohort of its Youth Policy Board (YPB) is now open! This cohort will serve for the 2025-2026 tenure, bringing together passionate young leaders to shape the future of our agrifood systems.

The YPB is a dynamic group of individuals from diverse regions and backgrounds that provide a strategic, youth-led vision to the policy-related activities of the WFF Youth Assembly. Through their efforts, the YPB plays a pivotal role in guiding the initiatives of the Youth Assembly, driving meaningful change in agrifood systems.

Members of the upcoming cohort will focus their efforts on aligning their work with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)'s four betters: better production, better nutrition, better environment, and better life. They will contribute to advancing the WFF Youth Initiative's mission of creating youth-driven policy solutions to transform agrifood systems and support global and regional actions.

The YPB members will also be tasked with implementing the Global Youth Action Plan 2025-2026, building on the outcomes of regional assemblies and consultations done by the previous YPB cohort. To learn more about the work done by the previous cohort, tune into our podcast. Additionally, some members will focus on conducting thematic consultations on key agrifood systems topics.
