The Sonteul Fishery System in the Seomjingang River Estuary, Korea, maintains marsh clam populations through traditional hand net methods. This sustainable fishing, removing pollutants and promoting aquatic health, supports locals' livelihoods alongside agriculture. The annual marsh clam festival and fishing season attract tourists, celebrating this unique cultural landscape from April to November.
