Capacity development is an essential tool to address the major challenges that the region is facing.
At FAO Campus we seek to design a new regional training program to expand and enrich the scope of technical assistance that FAO provides the countries from Latin America and the Caribbean, through close collaboration with the academia, the private sector and the civil society. This collaboration is based on a strategy of alliances that promotes the exchange of experts, innovations and lessons learned between countries and regions.
Five areas of work
As a capacity development programme, we seek to enhance the experience of the region, and we have organised this programme into five specific areas of work.

Academia

Training

Impact
Advising countries to ensure the quality, the sustainability and the scalability of training processes and influencing on changes of practices.
