FAO Investment Centre
FAO envisions a world where agrifood systems work for people and the planet.
Achieving these ambitious goals calls for collective action, political will and investment and finance solutions that lead to better production, better nutrition, a better environment and a better life – leaving no one behind.
The FAO Investment Centre partners with countries and financing institutions to advise on and design the investment strategies, policies and projects that will shape tomorrow’s agrifood systems.
It explores innovations to increase food security, climate resilience and financial inclusion. And it fills critical knowledge gaps and develops capacities for better investment decision-making.
Building on six decades of experience, the Centre’s growing multidisciplinary team – at headquarters and across all regions – is its greatest asset.
The Centre works in over 120 countries, tailoring its investment and finance solutions to help countries tackle today’s challenges for a healthier, more sustainable future.
