UNFCCC COP 27

The 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 27) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will take place on 6-18 November 2022 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. The Conference will include several mountain-related events across official side events, exhibits and pavilions, including three events being organized within the framework of the Mountain Partnership:

9 November, Cryosphere Pavilion: Leading mountain sustainability through innovation
11 November, 11.30—13.00, Hatshepsut: IPCC Cross-Chapter Paper 5: Mountains - sharing knowledge to promote adaptation initiatives in mountains
17 November, 18.30—20.00, Hatshepsut: Bringing mountains to the forefront by leveraging the International Year of Mountains 2022
