Expo 2025 Osaka, themed "Designing Future Society for Our Lives", will take place in Osaka, Kansai, Japan from 13 April to 13 October 2025, bringing together global initiatives that promote sustainability, innovation and collaboration. The event will serve as a platform to share solutions for pressing global challenges, fostering connections between people, ideas and technologies.
The Mountain Partnership project Fashion for Fragile Ecosystems has received an award from Expo 2025 Osaka as a best practice in design for the future and will be exhibited at the Expo from 13 April to 13 October 2025. This initiative aims to improve the livelihoods of mountain and island communities around the world while ensuring the protection of their environments by linking cultural heritage and traditional design with ethical, contemporary fashion.
