The National Meteorological Institute of Costa Rica plans to observe International Mountain Day at Bajos de Zúñiga, in San Ramón, located in the mountains in the middle of the Central American country. The climate, soil and water at this location allow for the development of sustainable agriculture and high value associated with the uplands, promoting sustainable development.
