Metsovion Interdisciplinary Research Center (MIRC) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) Development Foundation is organizing the second documentary film competition on the environment and the integrated development of mountain areas in Greece.
Building on the success of the first competition, the second, which is dedicated to famous Greek film director Theo Angelopoulos, aims to raise awareness about the efforts to revitalize the mountainous areas in Greece.
The winning films will be shown at several events across Greece. The top four will receive monetary prizes as well as certificates at a ceremony at the NTUA. The deadline for film submissions is 30 October 2014. For further information, contact: [email protected]
