The Mountain Partnership Steering Committee (SC) meeting will take place in Turin, Italy on 14-15 October 2015. The second meeting of the Steering Committee in 2015 will focus on the strategic positioning of the Mountain Partnership and its role in moving the mountain agenda forward.
The SC will provide an overview of issues and challenges facing mountain communities in their respective constituencies in order to enhance effectiveness of the Mountain Partnership.
The 16-member SC - representing governments, civil society and international organizations - provides strategic guidance for the MP Secretariat. MP members may wish to update the Steering Committee who represent their constituency with summaries of their issues and activities ahead of the meeting.
