What they do
The vision of the British Ecological Society (BES) is to advance ecology and make it count. At a time when finite natural resources are being used at increasing rates, it has never been more important for human society to understand its impact on ecological systems and their importance in maintaining human health.

Grant

Eligibility
The grants go up to £5,000. These grants are given to individuals, not organizations. Only current BES members may apply. Applicants cannot use a Research Grant to fund a component of a larger, already-funded study. Failure to submit a satisfactory report at the end of a grant will mean the grantee is ineligible to apply for further grants. early career ecologists can apply for funding up to £20,000.
